Marchon3D today announced that on October 7, 2010, the United States Patent and Trademark Office issued an official Notice of Allowance on one of Marchon3D’s patent applications relating to its curved M3D™ 3D lenses, signifying that a patent will shortly issue. The patent will also cover the method of manufacturing the patented lenses, which decode three-dimensional content in cinemas and on television and computer screens. Once issued, manufacturing anywhere in the world of lenses covered by this patent for importation into the US will be prohibited.
